"I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth." Genesis 9:13 KJV
I saw the most amazing phenomina yesterday as I splashed in the waves of the Atlantic in the late afternoon. As the tide began to ebb and the waves crashed, I noticed a rainbow in the sea spray for a split second. The interplay of light and water reveals a dynamic aspect that God has built into nature, as the spectrum of light is revealed. The astounding Spiritual beauty of the rainbow is that your own proximity to the prismatic effect of the water droplets dictate whether or not you are able to observe it. Rainbows are visible when viewed at an angle of 42 degrees from the direction opposite of the sun. God made all of nature a promise after the Flood. He promised the He would never again destroy the earth with water. Instead, He has sent His Son, Who is the light of the world, to suffer and die for our salvation. Your proximity to Him will reveal the promise of God in your life. God has made it possible for us to see His promise today. I pray that you accept His invitation.

On bright days I've occasionally seen rainbows by waterfalls, one of which appeared 20 years ago at a pivotal stage in my life. It was indeed a spiritual experience that has remained with me.
